Gintl is a premium dry gin that merges the rigor of modern vacuum distillation with the mystical heritage of Russian Altai. The challenge was to create a visual identity that reflects both its sophisticated "berry-herbal" flavor profile and the ancient legend behind its key botanical — Sagaan-Dali.
The Story: A Legend of Love The brand is built upon the Altai legend of Sagaan (a white eagle) and Dali (a shepherd's daughter). According to shamanic lore, where the eagle's blood-stained feathers fell after escaping a witch's trap, a miraculous plant grew: Sagaan-Dali. This plant, symbolizing the power of love, is the soul of Gintl’s recipe.
Design Concept: To translate this narrative into packaging, the design centers around a hand-drawn botanical illustration.
Symbolism: The feather acts as a bridge between the eagle legend and the "magic" of the distillation process.
Craftsmanship: Every line of the illustration was meticulously drawn by hand to mirror the artisan nature of "Small Batch" production.
Visual Narrative: The feather is not a singular object but a composition of the gin’s soul. Look closely, and you will find the intricate leaves of Sagaan-Dali, Macedonian juniper berries, coriander, angelica, and fresh citrus zests woven together.
